[comp.sys.mac] Is Mac 512K ROM/disk upgrade discontinued?

I decided it was finally time to buy the ROM/disk upgrade for
my aging 512K Mac (3 years 3 months on the original power supply!)
so I called my local "friendly" Apple dealer (whose name I won't
mention) to arrange for the upgrade. When the tech called me
back, she claimed that the ROM/disk upgrade was no longer available
from Apple (she mumbled something about not being able to find it on
the price list).

Now, is this true, or is this dealer just trying to "coax" me into
buying a whole new system from them? Can anyone shed light? I'd
especially like to have part numbers, prices, whatever, so that when
I write my scathing letter to the main office of the store's chain
(with a copy to Apple too, of course) I can substantiate my claims.

According to the info I have here, you can still buy upgrades from Apple
to take either a Mac 512 or Mac 512 Enhanced up to a Mac Plus.

M2516	Macintosh Plus Disk Drive Kit
M5200/A	Macintosh Plus Logic Board Kit
M2519	Macintosh Plus Keyboard (ifya really need it)

The disk drive kit upgrades the ROM and disk drive in a Mac 512. The
logic board kit converts a Mac 512 Enhanced to a Mac Plus by switching the
mother board. I'm not sure what both upgrades would cost at retail price,
but a student here can buy them together for $788.
