Back when the Mac II and SE came out, I heard a rumour that Apple used up left-over space in their ROMs with a little slide show of people involved in the development of these systems - kind of like the original Mac teams' singatures on the inside of the 1st Macs' cases. Does anyone know the address of the routine to display these pictures? I can get to the monitor prompt by hitting the programmer's switch on the side of the system unit, but what is the address to 'G'o to? Just curious - we got several Mac IIs recently and have been poking 'round them. Thanks in advance! Joel Garrett internet: garrett@udel.edu

Because, contrary to a previous poster's assertion, only the SE ROM
had leftover room to put thie slide show in.

The SE ROMs lack Color QuickDraw and other goodies, and so have room for digitized pictures. The II's ROMS have no room for pictures. ========================================================================== Rick Holzgrafe | {sun, voder, nsc, mtxinu, dual}!apple!rmh Software Engineer | AppleLink HOLZGRAFE1 rmh@apple.apple.com Apple Computer, Inc. | "All opinions expressed are mine, and do 20525 Mariani Ave. MS: 27-O | not necessarily represent those of my Cupertino, CA 95014 | employer, Apple Computer Inc."
