[comp.sys.mac] looking for some advice on Norwegian telecommunication environment

werner@utastro.UUCP (Werner Uhrig) (07/28/88)

Friends,
this isn't Mac-related, but this is where I "socialize" and
know I can find some Norwegian friends, with whom I have exchanged
favors with in the past - or will in the future.

I need to get some questions answered, both technical (what to expect
when visiting Norway with the idea to keep in touch electronically with
home-base, either through a TAC-gateway, a "friendly" Norwegian UUCP-
connected site reachable with a modem, or dialing from modem in portable
direct to a computer in the USA; or whatever other alternative there may
exist ...CompuCash or similar commercial critters may be acceptable...)

..and some tourist-hints, like what to do and see and bring back as gifts...

		Any takers? ---Werner

Very nice place. The most important thing to do when visiting is pack money.
Lots and LOTS of it.
