Does anyone use Desktop Express successfully? The only time I tried it, I sent a letter to my Mom, which was done in the New York typeface in MS-Word 3.x. When she got the document, fonts greater than 10pt came out OK. However, the body of the letter (10pt) was converted to some symbolic font that I don't even have. Since I never got a satisfactory reply from MCI Mail on what happened, I abandoned the program and decided not to buy it. A friend of mine has recently tried to send a rather large (30K) file using Desktop Express. He always gets an 'x.pc error' message and the transfer aborts. He can't get anyone at MCI to help or respond to his inquiries. Is Desktop Express still a supported product? Does it work? Why doesn't MCI (which markets it) reply to requests for help?
