Hello, all! I've been using MacProject II for some time now, and I've found a terribly frustrating, annoying bug. Here's the situation: Mac II, 5 Mb ram, 13", 256 color moniter (apple's), multifinder, and a 768K partition for MacProject II. LocalTalk connection to a LaserWriter, V5 system software (that's finder 6.0, system 4.2 and Multifinder 1.0), and LaserWriter and Laser Prep 5.2 (from V6 software release ... This is another story). My project plan has grown big enough, and the dependencies are sparse enough, that I want to break the one file down into several smaller files, and use 'Supertasks' to bring everything back together. First step: make the sub-files. I go to 'See Entire Shart', select the boxes that are to make up one sub file, and hit copy. Close the main file, and open a new one. Make the chart size a little bigger (3 pages is enough), click in the main chart area, and hit 'Paste'. It works. Do this a second time; second sub-file made. Do this a third time, and it says 'current chart size too small for clipboard contents'. OK, so I make the drawing size bigger. Now the drawing is six pages. click, and paste. Same Problem. Now the drawing size is as big as I can make it. Same problem. Go to page setup, set reduction to 50% (ttwice as big again!) Same problem. Choose 'show clipboard'. The clipboard window comes up empty. I make it the size of my screen, still empty. No scroll bars. No contents. I go back to the origional chart, copy the right piece, and show clipboard. Still empty. What gives??? If anyone at claris is listening, fix this, fast! Thanks for listening... Chris wood Bellcore ...!bcr!nvuxr!ccw
