Hello: Upon reading through my Macintosh SE owner's manual, I noticed that Apple's system software supports background printing on the laser printer, but I was dismayed to find that I could not use background printing on the Imagewriter. (I happen to be using an Imagewriter I.) Since I occasionally print rather long documents, I would like to be able to use the computer while the printer is printing. Does System software release 6.0 offers background Imagewriter printing? Better yet, does anyone have an Imagewriter driver or INIT, etc. that allows background printing or spooling? On a similar note, could someone please send me a BinHexed copy of BinHex version 4.0. I have version 5.0, which decodes files created with version 4.0, but I would like to keep a clean conscience and not use version 5.0 without paying for it, since it's shareware, and it seems that version 4.0 is all I need for decoding files posted to comp.binaries.mac. I would also like to be able to encode files so that they're readable by people with version 4.0. Thank You, bushnel@ucscb.UCSC.EDU (Bill Bushnell)
