I would like to have my headers or footers automaticaly made in MS-Word. For instance, put the title of a paragraph or section in the header. Probably the best way would be to have a style that is automatically put into the header. As far as I know, this is not possible; or at least, I cannot find any reference to such a thing in the manuals. Is there anybody who has found a way to do it? -- Kees van't Hoff, CWI, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. keesh@cwi.nl

I don't know how you could put text into headers and footers using a
style; but you can define the header and footer styles which will
automatically be used in a new document. The "built-in" styles
"header" and "footer" are applied to headers and footers when you
create them; if you modify them and click "set default" in the Define
Styles window, they will be stored as your new defaults in your "Word
Settings" file.
Hope this helps.
