Any way to do this? TranslatorDA (1.50, May '87) dies completely on anything substantial, and will only convert to MacWrite, and ignores feetnote I think. The Translator program only converts to text, and does ignore feetnote. RTF format would probably be ok, as would WN's pseudo-RTF; I've got a Common Lisp TeX to RTF translator somebody posted, which solves a small part of the problem. I've ordered the WriteNow upgrade, but haven't gotten it. Anybody know if this will do it? PM reads WN format just fine, and will save (Export) text into Macwrite, WN, Word 3.0, or text files. Read your WN in, write out as Word 3.0, read it into FW. I'm not sure what this does with footnotes; the material I used did not include them. There might be some small differences going in between formats like this, but the main part should make it fine. -cbb -- Chris Borton borton%uva@mcvax.{nl,bitnet,uucp} (oops, that's rather flakey right now: use borton%uva@hasara5.bitnet) Rotary Scholar, University of Amsterdam CS
