My uncle recently bought a Mac Plus for the small family lumber yard that he owns. He is now slogging through manuals learning how to point and click (whoopee!) but when he's done with that, he could use some decent software for doing things like keeping books and sending out bills, statements, etc. I know plenty about the Mac, but nothing about running a small business, and I have no experience whatsoever with business software (although I once tried out Visicalc on an Apple ][...:-)) If anyone would be willing to send me recommendations for things that might be useful to my Uncle, please e-mail me and I'll send on the info to him. This is much appreciated. Also, anyone know of any Mac BBS in the area of Ellenville, NY (not far from Poughkeepsie, Kingston, etc... My Uncle owns Ellenville Lumber Co.)?
