Seems like I remember Lauren doing this.  Are you out there?  Try net.micro
or net.micro.cpm if not.

I think some of the UNIX clones for the IBM-PC (Coherent, VENIX,
Pick-Axe, etc.) come with uucp.  Some people run usenet off their
PC's using this uucp facility.
