Well, my MacII came today and in setting things up I have a few questions (my old set-up is an upgraded 512->512E, w/ 2M of MacMemory and a serial 20M MacBottom), I have a MacII w/ 5M of memory, but no hard disk yet (that will come as soon as I have a little money again). My first question is, with the arrival of System 6.0 is PRam Fix (2.0) still necessary? Does it cause problems if used? Next, I have been using a version of Macsbug that apparently doesn't work with the MacII, what is the latest version and where is the easiest place to get it? Finally, since I have 5M of memory, but no hard disk, I was thinking of running a RamDisk, but RamStart 1.4 doesn't seem to work (as stated above I am running System Update 6.0), are people out there running RamDisks with the current system, and if so, what program are you using? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Jim Clausing -- "Is it time for a colorful metaphor?" CIS Department Ohio State University jac@tut.cis.ohio-state.edu Columbus, OH 43210 GEnie: J.CLAUSING
