In considering Modula 2 as a first programming language over Pascal, we must be certain that good implementations exist on a variety of machines. In the first instance, we are concerned with implementations on Macintoshes, although experience on other machines would be advantageous if you had that info handy. The implementation should be in the Macintosh spirit, providing a good environment for debugging etc. Would people who have information regarding various implementations which fit the bill please respond? In case this has been asked a thousand times, and answered a thousand times, sorry -- but can you reply one more time? Thanks, in advance, Isaac Balbin - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Isaac Balbin Department of Computer Science, ACSnet: isaac@goanna.cs.rmit.oz.au RMIT, GPO BOX 2476 V, ARPA:isaac%goanna.cs.rmit.oz.au@uunet.uu.net Melbourne, 3001 CSNET: isaac%goanna.cs.rmit.oz.au@australia AUSTRALIA UUCP: ...!uunet!goanna.cs.rmit.oz.au!isaac
