I'd like to mention a very nice experience I had recently with DEST Corporation. I have one of their PC1020 Flatbed Scanners. It had a slight alignment problem and naturally was out of warranty. I called DEST's Service and Maintenance department and they said to bring it in (we're only a few miles apart) for service. I was very surprised and pleased when I arrived and they offered to me a replacement PC1020 at no cost! That's what I call service!
