Does anyone know if this word processor is going to be marketed soon? We have seen quite a few overviews of the program on the net in the last six months but I have not seen anything in the popular Mac-mags. At the MacWorld expo, the developers (i.e. the people who actually were writing the code) were shooting for November, and the version they were showing certainly seemed pretty stable. While I was gawking at the Paragon booth, some younger programmers from Apple bounced up to the booth and critiqued the implementation of the Macintosh interface down to some pretty minute details. By and large they seemed very impressed, and compared Nisus very favorably to WordPerfect for the Mac, which they poked a lot of fun at. My impression of Nisus was that it was a very fast and capable word-processor with a nice macro-generating facility and particularly powerful search and replace features. Some of the other advanced features you may have heard about are nice, but I wish that companies would stop trying to integrate every possible function into their programs in this age of Multifinder. jking disclaimer: I have no connection with Paragon Concepts and in fact do not own any of their products.
