hello,
i just finished testing the Retouch (tm) program sent to
comp.sources.mac.binaries and it has a few things i found useful.
anyway...the problem. Using the file 'Thunderscan Ad' as a test
i tried to print the picture. The result was the not good.
the print spooler took the job with no problems but the printer either
never got the job from the spooler or could not process the data
received from the spooler.
the only indication of anything strange happening was that the spinning
watch icon never changed back to the standard arrow. Even after the
spooler and program released the mouse for normal use.
i am running a Mac SE with 20 Meg internal drive
system 4.2
finder 6.0
apple laserwriter -w- apple laserspooler version 5.0
with absolutely nothing funky in the system file.
any help with determining what is going wrong would be appreciated.
