Seems like everybody is sighing and blaming Apple. I asked the salesman in my Univ. The new price will be effective from Oct. 7, or after Oct. 7. So you can hurry up and buy a Mac at the current unraised price at least from universities, i.e., at the 35% discount price. You guys, why don't you just think a while? I think, purely in my opinion, that there is a plot behind. The consumer is in general very sensitive to price-performance ratio. Mac II price will hike by more than $1100. What do you feel? Usually companies do not announce price increasing date. They just increase the price without notice. And this time of the year in universities is ... And on Oct. 12(?), Next ... Once you buy a Mac, ... I should hear "Huh" by now. Are they really going to increase the price. We might hear, "Well, I don't know. I forgot." (with a real California accent).
