Well, it finally happened last night. While cheerfully hacking away on my SE w/ Jasmine innerdrive 45, the screen went BLACK. The drive stopped but the fan kept on working... I get the impression this is a problem with the power supply or power board. Does anyone know if the Jasmine draws too much power or something? Also, can anyone recommend an honest, and reasonably inexpensive Mac Mechanic here in the Bay Area? The warranty ran out before I installed the Jasmine. The machine and the drive have been working wonderfully for months and then suddenly, Poof! Anyone else have these problems? If I have a blown power supply and power board, how much can I expect to pay to have it fixed? Thanx, -edc-
