[comp.sys.mac] Great service from CMS for my PRO-140 disk drive

Since I have in the past posted various complaints to this group, it seems
only fair to post compliments here as well:

After using my CMS PRO-140 drive for nearly a year, it finally suffered from
an inevitable problem -- it got full.  Since I was pleased with the drive, I
decided to order a PRO-300 to replace the PRO-140, and also a cabinet/power
supply into which I could move the PRO-140.  (CMS offers very competitive
prices to Apple Certified Developers.)

After completing the disk swap (yes, I was using a wrist strap and working
in a static free environment), the PRO-140 failed to operate.  Although it
required some time on the phone (the product I wanted to ship back was
the combination of TWO products -- the drive and the cabinet -- purchased
at different times), I finally obtained authorization from CMS to ship the
drive back.

I shipped the drive back to CMS by UPS Second Day Air.  I had the working
drive back in my hands exactly a week later, WITH THE DATA INTACT.  The work
was done under warranty, so the only cost to me was the shipping to CMS.
