This message is for Leonard Rosenthol; sorry for the inconvenience, but my mailer doesn't know how to get to him. ------------------------ Hi Leonard, Here's some more information on my system crash with MicroPhone/SuperPaint. I'm running version 1.1 of SuperPaint, and 2.0 (date: June 27, 1988) of MicroPhone II, with version 6.0 of System Software (Finder 6.1, System 6.0), on a Mac SE with 2.5 MB of RAM and internal 20MB hard disk, Apple extended keyboard. All programs are using their default partitions. This is the contents of my System file: Backgrounder Clipboard File DAJHandler Easy Access Finder Finder Startup General ImageWriter Key Layout Keyboard Mouse MultiFinder Note Pad File Scrapbook File Sound Startup Device System Word Settings As I said, whenever I initiate a script (that puts up a dialog, with the "Dialog Install" command) in MicroPhone with SuperPaint loaded, MP "quits unexpectedly" with a reason code of (2). It doesn't matter in what order I load the two programs, and this is reproducible at will. Further, if I then quit SuperPaint, and restart MicroPhone, the same behavior occurs (now WITHOUT SuperPaint loaded), leading me to believe that SuperPaint may be patching some system global "stuff" that is only reset by a reboot. I hope you can shed some light on this; it's really bizarre. Thanks for the help, Rich p.s. I like MicroPhone II a LOT! Nice job...
