I've been having trouble with a Jasmine Direct Drive 45 that I bought just two days ago. The dealer that I bought it from says he has returned 7 to Jasmine because they did not apparently function correctly. Has anyone else had problems with the new Direct Drives? After my first crash, I lost 2 Mb which had been previously a partition but even ResEdit could not find it. After subsequent crashes, I kept getting sad Macs until after about the sixth time I re-formatted the hard disk. It now has been stable for one day. Are there any other problems with Direct Drives that we should know about?
