[comp.sys.mac] HP Laser Jet II to Mac

Jonathan.Hirschman@rubbs1.FIDONET.ORG (Jonathan Hirschman) (09/21/88)

I am wondering if anyone knows the best way to connect a Mac+ to a HP. I am also wondering if fonts used by PageMaker will print on the HP. I have the printer fonts but I don't know if they can be down loaded to a HP. I thank everyone in advance for your help

I'm much more interested in hooking a DeskJet to a Mac. What would be
necessary for such a connection? Is there any driver software that would
work at all? Is anyone working on it. Is there hope for this printer and a
Mac ever talking amicably? I do hope so.

Orange Micro, Inc has a combination of software/hardware called the
grappler LS which enables you to use the deskjet on the mac. I called them
today to get a documentation. The grappler LS sells for $129 from them.
Here is their telephone number : 800-223-8029
