Did anyone notice that the SFxVolInit (I can't remember all of the characters)
version 1.5 that is part of the stuffit utilities doesn't quite work with FWB's
HD Partition?? or am I confused -- it will act as if a different volume is
active (different free space etc) but still shows the old volume. Didn't bother
to test out making new folders since it looked like it wasn't quite working and
I wasn't about to risk my disk, so I shelved it.
On the partition front -- I just received notice of a new product named
MultiDisk by ALSoft with my update notice for DiskExpress 1.5 -- supposidly it
will let you create partitions over non-contiguous space and resize them on the
fly -- Has anyone tried this product? (even in beta test?) I'm particularly
interested in how DiskExpress and DiskFit handle these partitions -- Both seem
to work adaquatly with HD Partition but I'd really like to be able to resize
my partition.
