We have about 30 Macs, mostly SE's networked to LaserWriter Plus and II/NT. AppleCare for the first 8 Macs is expiring (after 1 year) and management is considering going on a time and materials basis to save money on the expensive AppleCare. Do any of you have experience with similar installations and do you use AppleCare? Would you advise us to drop AppleCare or keep it? We thought we could get replacement parts and keep repaired parts for spares in some cases, though I don't beleive we have anyone on staff that could actually do the repair/replacement in-house. I'd appreciate any advice you have on this matter. Unfortunately, we've been losing news lately, but mail seems to be getting through. I know this has the potential of starting a "discussion" on the net, but I may not see it, so please email responses and I'll summarize if there is enough response (even though I may not be able to read it).
