Some time ago (about 3 months) I bought Hypercard Construction Kit through the UCLA Campus Bookstore...the Copyright Owner was Telesis Software Systems. The package was bug-filled...I called Telesis (719-630-1860) and talked to tech support, describing the product, packaging, etc. I was told, "No problem, you have the original release...we'll send you the current release which fixes those bugs...we'll send it right away." Unfortunately, I didn't ask the name of the man I talked to. Two and a half weeks went by, no upgrade...I called Telesis again, no answer...I continued to call for a week, no answer...I checked with the UCLA store, they tried contacting Telesis, as well as the supplier that (they think) they got Hypercard Construction Kit from...no answer from Telesis, and the 3rd party supplier never heard of Telesis or HCK. I think I like HCK, and would like a working version, or I would like my $$$ back (I won't hold my breath), or I'd at least like to find out if Telesis still exists, whether it has gone through a metamorphosis, or is just plain history (along with my $$$). Any clues would be appreciated. UCLA Computer Science Department -- Larry 3413 Boelter Hall Los Angeles 90024 (213) 825-2145 Prince UUCP: {ucbvax,sdcrdcf}!ucla-cs!prince ARPAnet: prince@CS.UCLA.EDU
