I have been hearing rumors that the SIMMS that go into the IBM PS/2 machines can also be inserted into the Macs. I realize that the IBM SIMMS have an extra parity chip, but apparently this is somehow disabled. IBM list price is $995 for 2 Meg and we may be able to get it at the MIT computer center for about $600 for 2Meg. Has anyone out there tried this, or know if it is possible. Obviously, we're in dire need of chips. Thanks in advance John Chandy
