I've noticed a bizarre problem with my Mac Plus recently. When I hit the interrupt on the programmer's switch, I don't get thrown into the debugger box. The mouse and keyboard seem to freeze up. At first I thought this might be due to some weird software in my System, but even when I shut off my hard disk and booted off of the original system diskette I 't couldn't get the debugger box. Also, if I install MacsBug, things work fine with it. Any guesses what's going on? Joe Hellerstein

This comes up infrequently enough that I forgot about it when it happened to me a few months ago. Unplug your modem or whatever from your serial port. That should fix it. /JBL UUCP: {backbone}!bbn!levin POTS: (617) 873-3463 INTERNET: levin@bbn.com
