Can anyone tell me how to get my CDEF to tell TrackControl to return 129 (inThumb) if i am doing my own dragging? Apple's standard ScrollBar behaves as follows: if you click in the thumb (scroll box) and then let go without moving the mouse, TrackControl returns 0. if you click in the thumb and drag the mouse but then return to the original click point before releasing, TrackControl again returns 0. if you drag the thumb and let go somewhere different than where you started (i.e. if you move the thumb), then TrackControl returns 129. I can get my scroll bars to behave like this only if I use the default drag method. If I use my custom method, TrackControl returns 0 no matter what the mouse did. I have seen the dial CDEF someone (sorry, can't remember who) posted awhile back. Alas, that CDEF suufers from the same affliction as mine. I hope someone out there (Apple dudes maybe?) can help me out. I have almost no hair left and I'm getting a flat spot on my head from banging it on the wall.:^) Thank you in advance. ______________________________________________________________________ Have a day. :^| Murat N.
