with system update 6.0.2 Apple has indeed restored the old system
beepsound
they still keep the clank,monkey, and boing sounds tho.
i just got hold of System 6.0.2 from my friendly Apple dealer.
Apple has not shipped to whole package yet. so all that was available
was the new system files (no documentation)
The Dealer anticipates docs within a week or so.
