[comp.sys.mac] Deluxe Music Construction Set 2.0 on sys 6.0.2

pack@acdpyr.ucar.edu (Dan Packman) (10/13/88)

I switched to the latest and greatest system 6.0.2. Now I find that
Deluxe Music Construction Set 2.0 will not allow me to include more
than one text field in a score. Typing a new one in either erases
the previous one, or the page flashes and the new one is not included.
Has anyone had this happen? Am I doing something wrong all of a
sudden?

On a related note, has anyone gotten version 2.5 yet? Is it improved
in any way? And are there any upgrades available? Thanks.

I had a problem with Version 1 of DMCS after I upgraded my Mac to the new ROM
and internal drive. I couldn't copy DMCS to a disk with the new system
required for the 128k ROM and was told by DMCS that I would have to upgrade.
I, instead, purchased ConcertWare+ MIDI which was not copy-protected and made
a decision not to purchase any more copy-protected sofware.

expecting any problems, because I ran FixJT on it, removing its large,
slow, obnoxious copy-protection....Someone on the net sent me FixJT
a while ago, and it's freeware (including MPW assembly source, for those
paranoid about viruses, just reassemble it yourself). I'd be glad to
send it/post it as demand warrents....
