[comp.sys.mac] Mac+ Hardware Enhancements

ben@tasis.utas.oz (Ben Lian) (10/14/88)

My Mac Plus is starting to feel its age now, but I don't really want to
(i.e. can't afford it) buy another machine just yet. So I am looking at
maybe stuffing in more RAM and a go-faster board. There are many brands
on the market, all claiming to do this-that-and-the-other. What is most
important to me is that the third-party hardware is 100% transparent to
the software. (Is that possible with 3rd party gear I wonder?) If you
think that your widget or doover is the absolute bee's knees, please email
me. I will summarise to the net if there is a good response.

Oh, and yes, I do already have a hard drive. I wonder how I ever got along
without one.

P.S. Our net connection to the mainland is not very stable at the moment.
If your email bounces, keep trying. I will acknowledge immediately anything
arrives.

Have fun!
