Can someone who has used AppleShare PC tell me why this would happen: We have an AppleTalk PC card in a Zenith computer (along with a hard drive, an SCSI card, a mouse card, a parallel printer card, and extra memory). We installed AppleShare PC on the hard drive, but when we boot the machine now, it locks up when it gets to the point where it runs the DA program. It just beeps whenever you type any key. We thought that maybe one of the cards was interfering, but removing them one by one (and the autoexec and config lines) did not help. I can make the connection using ANET but it would be much nicer to be able to use the DA pop-up (memory resident or not). If it matters, we have a CGA card. Sorry for those of you who think it is a crime to discuss an IBM problem in the Mac newesgroup, but the Mac people are generally more knowledgeable about this kind of thing then the IBM people because they have had to appease people by putting their IBMs on an AppleShare network. Thanks for any help you can give, Michael Niehaus Ball State University Muncie, IN 47306 UUCP: ...!{pur-ee,iuvax}!bsu-cs!mithomas
