[comp.sys.mac] Arrow cursor icon - where is it?

lulue@manta.NOSC.MIL (Dan Lulue ) (10/15/88)

Does anyone know where the arrow cursor icon is kept? I think it used
to be a Finder resouce, but it is not there anymore (F:6.0 S:4.2).

I would like to remove the rectangle that CloseView places around the
cursor, if only I can locate the cursor resource.

Thanks, Dan.

The arrow cursor is now in ROM, and has been for some time I think.

there is none, it is a low-memory global. Besides, a cursor 'icon' isn't
big enough to support the rectangle that CloseView draws, that must be a
separate VBL task.
