This bug may have been reported before in this group, but if you are like me, you just received System 6.0.2. If you are running AppleShare 2.01 with the client from system 6.0.2, and have MacroMaker in the system folder the following happens on startup ( if you you have your client set up to automattically load the server icon). When starting, the MacroMaker menu icon does not show up. If you try to open the system folder in this situation, the system bombs. However, if you first place the AppleShare volume in the trash, the Menumaker icon appears and seems to work fine (and the system folder no longer crashes). You can then use the chooser to load the AppleShare volume again and all seems to work alright. This seems remeniscent of the old side-kick days on th PC when TSR programs were always colliding and jockying for "load-me-first"status. Has anyone found a solution to this. I would like to have my machines use MacroMaker but not as it stands now. Internet -- ludey%umbio@umigw.miami.edu UUCP -- {uunet!gould}!umbio!ludey Lanny R. Udey -- Assoc.
