Run an Interferon 2.0 test on a volume containing the System 6.02 versions of Laser Writer and Laser Preparation. It will diagnose that both files are infected by a virus of type 004 such as SNEAK. A 004-virus turns an innocent system file into an INIT so that it is run whenever you boot the machine. A lapse of Interferon or are the new Laser files indeed "funny"? _ ___ ___ ______________________ ACSNET: atf@arp.anu.oz.au /| | | Andre Fuhrmann ARPA: atf@arp.anu.oz.au /_| | |_ ARP, ANU, GPO BOX 4 INTERNET:atf%arp.anu.oz@uunet.uu.net / | | | ACT 2601, AUSTRALIA JANET: atf%arp.anu.oz@nss.cs.ucl.uk / | | | ---------------------- UUCP: uunet!munnari!arp.anu.oz!atf
