Does anyone know where to get a copy of Facelift, which was featured a couple of months ago in Mactutor ?? Its a an init which allows you to assi a unique icon to any disk -- even a floppy (unlike the init which was posted to comp.sys.mac.bin). Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks. The program previously known as Facelift is know being called Facade. The author, Greg Marriott, has sent the source etc. for publication in MacTutor and so I assume that it will be available there in due time. If there is enough interest, I will attempt to post (seems like my Mercer stuff never made it, though) to comp.binaries. /* ============================================================ */ /* Leonard Rosenthol | GEnie: MACgician */ /* President, Lazerware inc. | Delphi: MACgician */ /* | MacNet: MACgician */ /* denn@violet.berkeley.edu | AppleLink: D0025 */

I have Facade (with the little thingie under the c in French) and what it lets you do is have an icon for every disk's NAME. So when you insert a disk named "HD 20" a specific icon comes up, and when "HD 140" comes up yet another, works for floppies and everything that has a name. Pretty nice. Let me know if this is what you want and I will E-Mail it to you. Mark Cookson

I'd like a copy (via e-mail, preferably). -Ted
