We have a macII in the lab that *was* connected to the university ethernet. It was running ncsa Telnet nicely for 6 months. One morning I got a bomb as soon as the I started up Telnet. We reloaded the system, telnet, and stripped everything off the system. The error persisted. The local apple representative tested the card and determined that the card was bad. We got a new card and it didnt work. We got another new card and it didnt work. We got two new cards and tested them on another macII, neither of these passed the apple diagonistics. Needless to say, we are very frustriated and confused by this behavior. Has anyone any similiar experiences or comments. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mark Interrante Software Engineering Research Center mfi@beach.cis.ufl.edu CIS Department, University of Florida 32611 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Imagine what it would be like if TV actually were good.
