We have encountered a very strange problem while using Cricket Graph and we hope that someone may enlighten us as to the origin or our grief. We are using Cricket 1.2 (Feb 8/88 version). Decimal numbers that are entered as .24 become .23999999 when some graphs are attempted. I thought the problem might be related to an earlier trouble I was having, and since the advice was to rebuild the desktop for that problem I thought it was an opportune time. Unfortunately, after rebuilding the desktop, neither Cricket Graph or Statview recognized the SE keypad numbers (wierd, eh?). So, I restarted the SE and now it recognizes the keypad. I thought maybe there was a virus so I ran Virus Detective. It gave me a number of STR512-720 errors (10 of them, in fact). Some of these 'infected' files were system files. Have I caught a bug. What does STR Range 512 720 mean? How do I get rid of these if they are bad? Finally, has anyone else experienced this problem with Cricket Graph? Thanks as always -- ************************************************************************ heath@gpu.utcs.edu or psyc.utoronto.edu!heath No disclaimer since nobody really cares what I think ************************************************************************
