Does anyone out there know of the existance of a software that can handle registration and other tasks for a conference. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I have been to conferences with computer registration. Using 3x5 cards with preprinted registration forms as a comparison, the computer registration varies between "almost as fast" to "come back tomorrow and hope the lines are shorter". It is far easier to equip and train a crowd with pens and cards than it is with computer terminals or macs, and it is far easier to do the data entry off line, after the conference. On the other hand, with enough macs, with speech software and very well thought out, configurable software, perhaps computers would be better. I would bet against it happening soon, but I wouldn't mind losing that bet. -- Keith Lofstrom ...!tektronix!vice!keithl keithl@vice.TEK.COM MS 59-316, Tektronix, PO 500, Beaverton OR 97077 (503)-627-4052

We've been looking for such software for a year now with no luck. So needless to say if anyone knows of something, please post the info on it for all to see.
