Does anyone know if the cube can run MacII programs??

No is doesn't...probably won't..does have some Mac programs being 
ported...

I disagree.   I'd be very surprised if no 3rd party manufacturer came
out with a NuBus board to emulate the Mac.  There's a market --
someone will go to the trouble of reverse-engineering it.

Why would anyone go thru the trouble of reverse engineering the Mac? We
all know that all software for the Mac is based on the proprietary roms
that would be needed to make any card of any type emulate the Mac...the
third party has no motivation to do this, and get Apple on them at the
same time for trying to use their proprietary rom code......
