I have a question that maybe someone can answer. We are running an AppleShare file server (over LocalTalk) that includes some Mac Pluses and some Mac 512KE's. Everything works fairly well, although we cannot now run SuperPaint on the 512KE's because of a lack of memory. We are using the same system/finder version (Finder 5.3 System whatever) that we used before with the addition of AppleShare 2.01 and Responder 1.0 (and a new chooser and a couple of font changes). With all of this, SuperPaint throws up its hands and says "I can't do it". Is there any way that I can alter the amount of memory given to the system or finder? Any other suggestions? Also, what does it mean in MacWrite if you try to install dictionaries and MacWrite just beeps at you? (We are using 5.0, obviously.) Could there be a better system/finder set that I could use for the 512KE's that would not use as much memory?
