Here's the problem: A debit card machine attached to a LaserWriter II creates a "paper-out" error when the debit card is removed, by monitoring certain jumpers on the control board. When a card is pulled before the print job is finished, the rest of the job stays in memory until another card is inserted. What I'd like to do is, somehow, tell the Print Manager - when there's a "paper -out" condition, "flush" or reset the printer. I've tried downloading several different PostScript docs, and used several different programs that say they can reset the printer; but nothing works because the Print Manager won't submit the new job until the "paper-out" error is corrected. Is there some way to work around this problem other than switching the Printer off/on?
