While I am generally pleased with SUM, I encountered the following problems last night: 1) While I have no real need for it, I was experimenting with HD Partition, just to see if it worked. I created a partition and when I rebooted, the mac bombed (ID = 02) on startup when it was trying to load the Menu Clock INIT. I removed the INIT and it booted okay. Of course, I have no idea which INIT is at fault. However, even after I got it to boot, the partition I created would not auto-mount. 2) When I use Quick Copy from the Finder and choose Copy All Sectors, it says there is 838K available memory. When I run it from Multifinder, it only says 499K. But I have 2.5 meg memory. These numbers stay the same even when I disable INITs such as Suitcase and SoundMaster; i.e. choosing "About Finder" shows that the largest unused block of memory is more than 1.4 meg. Why doe sQuick Copy only find 499K under Multifinder?
