Hi folks. I have an ignorant question I hope some knowledgeable person on the net can help me with. I have been reading about the 68851 PMMU chip for the Mac II. What exactly does it do? Does one come with the Mac II or do you need to add it yourself? What advantages does it give you? Are they apparent under MacOS AND A/UX , or under one or the other?
