Hello all. I have a problem with an apple color Mac II monitor and I wondered if anyone ou;there could help me. I have my monitor sitting atop my macintosh II, with an imagewriter 5 inches from the left side of the CPU and a Prometheus Modem 6-7 inches from the right side. The closest thing to the monitor other than the afoementioned is a shelf about five inches above the highest point of the monitor that hold books. Anyhow, my color is slightly screwed! the TOP THIRD of the screen looks like the H-stat is maladjusted...the left edge of the picture is fringed with blue and the right with red. I have tried adjusting H-stat and V-twist, but all they do is move the ENTIRE screen to red or blue, KEEPING the disparity between the top and bottom of the screen. I have tried the Degauss switch numerous times. Nothing works. Do I need to take this monitor in to see its dealer? It is not that annoying, but combined with the infamous 'Sony Line' across the bottom, it is kind of irritating. Especially on a computer touted for its precision graphics. So, anyhow, if you've waded through this post this far, any ideas? Thanks very much to all. Cheers, -JBZimmerman! -- ___________ | "A flute with no holes is not a flute.
