I'm posting this for a friend (phd_ivo@gsbacd.uchicago.edu) who doesn't have net access and wants to know "if anyone knows how to get a Unix onto the Mac without buying the Apple HD (i.e. I want it onto a Rodime 140MB drive)." According to my HEP price list Apple is shipping A/UX on floppies. I believe that it comes on 35 floppies, but I won't swear to it. I expect that in the future we might also see it distributed via 1/4inch tapes. --- Mark Verber Ohio State Univ.
