For some reason, we've had a rash of disk crashes whenever someone cancels a print job on Pagemaker 3.0 or Word 3.02. Now, I've checked for Scores, nVIR, and Sneak and it just ain't there so it ain't a virus. I've been able to recover user's files by sector-to-sector copy, expect those sectors crashed by the Mac. Is there any reason why the Mac should crash sectors of a disk when a user cancels a print job? The configs affected: Mac II, Mac SE, Mac Plus All 1 Meg All 20 MByte HD All System 6.0.2, Finder 6.1 We don't have enough memory to worry about MultiFinder!
