[comp.sys.mac] hard drive chassies

earhard@dalcsug.UUCP (Mark Earhard) (12/06/88)

Howdy!

I might have just made a rather expensive mistake:

I went and ordered a bare ST277n (segate 65mb hard drive), and promptly
phoned the place I was to get the chassies from (with built in power supply)
and they didn't answer the phone... *gasp*

The place I called was, I think, Tulin inc. they sell the "Apple Hive".

Does anyone know an altrenate chassies? does anyone know where I can get
one of these things? I need a chassies with the appropriate connectors
(SCUZZY????) and a 30 watt power suply (that's what's aparently in the
apple hive...)

Thanks in advance!

I would try them again (408-432-9025), I would think they are still in
business, as I just obtained one of their enclosures for a st277n about
3 weeks ago. Shipment was very prompt and the packaging excellent.

There are, however, many other suppliers of hard drive enclosures with
power supplies. Look in any issue of the Computer Shopper.
