Some months ago there was some discussion on the point of being able
to run Multifinder w/o the finder. I remember there exists one or two
little programs that serve as a "dummy" finder. Could someone who has
one of these replacements mail it to me. I couldn't find anything in
our own archives, was it actually posted?
Thanks in advance --- Yvo

I am new to the mac world (I am a faithful apple // user) and I was wonder
where i could find a program that I could put in my startup folder so that
is will say something when I boot up the disk. I would also like to know
how I would put up a picture on the screen before I make it say something.
( I know about renameing a picture to StartupScreen. but that is it. )
Thanks,
Jim Anderson
