[comp.sys.mac] Where should the clipboard and scrapbook files be?

I am having problems with the clipboard  and scrapbook when I am using
applications which reside on a (sheard and therefore locked) MacServe
voluomes. is there any way to tell the system where the clipboard and
scrapbook are, so that It will use the user diskatte, instead of the
locked volume?
