I know that this topic has come up a billion times, so I will make this brief. Next year I am doing my Junior year in England. I am planning on taking my Macintosh so as to be able to do word processing and stay in tune with reality. I hear that the Mac can handle the power difference, is this true? What about the Imagewriter? I have an Imagewriter II and am also planning on taking that, mostly because someone told me that there are not all that many Macs in England, and the odds of my finding someone at my university, which may be Exeter, are slim. Should I carry the Mac on the plane? Should I ship it? Which is safest for the little bugger? Should I sell my mac and get a LapTop IBMPC klone and a cheapo printer? Please mail all advice to one of the below addresses, as our site turns over News with voracious speed. Thanks!
